My partner and I visited the Edge Hill Tavern last night for a concert, we stopped in at the bistro for dinner. It was very busy, but service and food was impeccable. A lovely American woman Danielle, gave me a recommendation for my meal. The gig was quite packed but the bar team handled it well and the lines moved quickly.

Terrible service. We waited for our meals longer than expected, it wasn’t busy. The meals were left on the counter to be delivered and we ended up having to get them ourselves once we realised the staff were just none existent to the fact that they were ready. One meal had to be returned as it was over cooked and dried out. Not rushing back.

We dined in for lunch and had the delicious slow cooked beef pie with peas and mash and gravy. This was by far the best pie ive ever had the flavour and chunks of beef that melt in your mouth id go back just for that again 😋

Visited for dinner while visiting Cairns. Meals were very generous in portion size. The ribs were delicious and cooked to perfection, very filling. The Parma was pretty good and kids burger was great. Bathroom facilities were very clean and well maintained. Wish we could have stayed longer to participate in the Simpsons trivia! Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return here on our next visit for a decent meal and great service.

Went to dinner at the tavern last night. Danielle served us multiple times throughout the evening. Her bubbly personality and obvious love for her job made the night really enjoyable. We definitely will be back to see her!

My family & I had my late husbands celebration of life here recently. Kim managed the event with assistance from her team. What a fabulous job they did. Kim’s can do attitude & perseverance with any hiccups that arose ensured that the event went off perfectly. Highly recommended. A huge thank you Kim & crew.

The ladies decided on a casual mid-week lunch at this place. Service and food are always dependable and satisfying. It is a relaxing place to catch up with friends because we are never made to feel like we have to vacate our table straight away.
